Norwood United Methodist Church offers a variety of Sunday school classes for everyone. Learn about God’s Word in a small group setting; explore issues that have answers from a biblical perspective which will help you negotiate a path in everyday life while growing spiritually in the Lord. Adults may choose the class that best fits their needs.

 

 

Regular Schedule Sunday School

2nd Sunday in September to last Sunday in May

9:00 to 9:45 am - Classes for Adults

  • Chapel Class - Meets in the Chapel, behind the Sanctuary; led by Bill Hutchinson and others.  The Chapel Class is open to all ages.  We use the Standard Lesson Commentary as a guide for study and discussions.  The class opens with singing, announcements and devotions.  One of the important parts of the opening is to pray for people in need and to praise what God has done for us all the time.  Questions during the lesson are encouraged.
     

  • Forum I & II - Meets in the Parlor, behind the Sanctuary; led by Bob Gibbs.  The Forum I & II Class is open to all ages.  Throughout our Bible studies, we discuss various issues in life and learn what the Bible teaches as a basis for dealing with these issues.
     

  • Oasis Women's Class - Meets in the Gathering Room, located through the double glass doors at the West Ridley Ave entrance; led by Lynn Seidel.
